How to get to Bertinoro

Bertinoro is within easy reach of both Bologna and the Adriatic coast. The centre is 6kms from State Road n.9 (Via Emilia) where public transport is available to the nearby university towns of Forlì and Cesena. Delegates can reach Bologna, Ravenna and Rimini  either via the A14 motorway or by rail in about 40 minutes. The Ancient Republic of San Marino can also be reached in about 30 minutes either via the A14 or via more time consuming but more scenic country routes. The regions of Umbria and Tuscany are also within easy reach and Rome itself is just a three hour drive away via the E45 superstrada from Cesena. Those with more time to spare can take the breathtaking Muraglione mountain pass (built by the Romans) which links Forlì to Florence.

Naturally, all Italian cities are linked by rail from Bologna station which is a 40 minute train ride from Forli’ or Cesena.

There are international airports in Bologna and Rimini. Furthermore, there are daily flights from London (Stansted) direct to Forlì airport (only 10 minutes from conference site). If you book early fares are incredibly cheap. Check out www.ryanair.com

A shuttle service from these airports directly to the conference centre will be guaranteed only for people who book by end of April.
